This picture was taken as part of my debut album artwork shoot by Ollie Weiat (@oliverweait on Instagram.)
Ollie is a top photographer and was the former art director at Warner Music and is a dear friend.
Having heard my songs, this shot was chosen by Ollie for the desolation landscape, the lonely railroad track and the abandoned boat, reminiscent of the crossroads in Clarkesville, Mississippi that Robert Johnson wrote about. On a shoestring budget, Ollie wisely chose our location as Dungeness in Kent, England.
Like he is for so many bluesmen, maestro Robert Johnson is one of my biggest influences in music.
His songwriting, his singing, his guitar playing-he had it all .
